Call for Session Organizers for the Annual Conference - www.asbsofjcs.org

The Association of Social and Behavioral Scientists welcomes the submission of session proposals for its 75th annual conference. It will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina on March 17-20, 2010. Sessions related to the conference theme, "Embracing the Past, Impacting the Future" are especially welcomed. This theme is reflective of the long and rich tradition of presenting action-oriented conference research papers and grassroots civic activities that have affected public policy and improved the quality of life for many Americans. The theme is also reflective of the Association's desire to continue its tradition of promoting the growth and development of academicians and grassroots civic leaders who will build upon the foundation established 75 years ago.

In addition to sessions featuring faculty members, ASBS strongly encourages the submission of sessions featuring and targeting undergraduate and graduate students. Ultimately, this Diamond Jubilee Celebration will feature sessions including, but not limited to, agriculture, anthropology, business, education, economics, history, social work, sociology, philosophy, political science and psychology. Persons interested in organizing sessions should submit the following information to the program chair:

1. Name of session organizers with affiliation and contact information

2. Abstract of 200 words or less with title of the session

3. Names of panelists with email addresses

4. Name of the discussant with email address

5. Indicate technology needs (ex. an overhead projector, a screen, etc.)

Submit all session proposals, preferably via email, to:
