Announcing the 74th Annual Conference of the Association of Social and Behavioral Scientists (ASBS) March 18-21, 2009 Ramada Plaza Hotel 108 First Street Macon, Georgia 31201
Proposals for the presentation of papers are due by December 8, 2008. Materials for Conference Registration and Calls for Papers are provided are available for your information. The Conference Chair can respond to all questions regarding abstract acceptance and program placement.
The hotel registrations may be made after October 15, 2008. To make reservations, please contact the Ramada Plaza Hotel by calling 1-800-454-6835 or by contacting the hotel directly at 478-746-1461. Rooms have been reserved under ASBS.
Conference registration fees are provided below and should be made payable to the Association of Social and Behavioral Scientists and postmarked by February 2, 2009. Call for Interdisciplinary Papers and Proposals T he Annual ASBS Spring conference will be held in Macon, Georgia, approximately 80 miles southeast of Atlanta. There are direct flights to Macon or shuttles from the Atlanta Airport. The conference site is the Ramada Plaza Hotel. After October 15, 2008, reservations may be booked at the conference rate by calling 1-800-454-6835 or by contacting the hotel directly at 478-746-1461. Feel free to visit the city’s Website (http://www.macon.com) for information on attractions, tours, and other events. The conference’s Local Arrangements Chair, Dr. Melvin Walker (walkerm@fvsu.edu) at Fort Valley State University, may also be contacted for additional information about the site. All program participants must register for the conference. Additional conference registration information can be found at http://www.asbsofjcs.org.The submission deadline for single papers, cases, and abstracts is December 8, 2008. However, proposals for sessions and chairs are due October 1, 2008. To submit papers, cases or sessions for the 2009-ASBS conference, please follow these guidelines:
