NOTICE  OF SPRING CONFERENCE

 

 

The 74th Annual Conference of the Association of Social and Behavioral Scientists will be held on March 18-21, 2009 in Macon, Georgia!

Call for Papers and Proposals

The submission deadline for single papers, cases, and abstracts is December 8, 2008. However, proposals for sessions and chairs are due October 1, 2008.

Proposals for Papers

Submit an abstract of 100 to 500 words or a complete paper.  Scholars are encouraged to submit papers that explore the cultural, economic, historic, political, psychological, and sociological issues relevant to the theme.

Proposals for Sessions

Submit a one-page outline including the topic, at least three presenters or discussants, and the session=s sub-theme. 

 

 

The Annual ASBS Spring conference will be held in Macon, Georgia, approximately 80 miles southeast of Atlanta. There are direct flights to Macon or shuttles from the Atlanta Airport. The conference site is the Ramada Plaza Hotel. After October 15, 2008, reservations may be booked at the conference rate by calling 1-800-454-6835 or by contacting the hotel directly at 478-746-1461.
